Ebook About Northern California is home to some of the most magnificent natural wonders on the planet, attracting millions of visitors every year. With a whopping 432 pages and 340+ photographs, Photographing California - North will guide you to the most visually spectacular scenery and points of interest the area has to offer. This book is designed to help give you the best photographic advantage possible as you travel along California s breathtaking coast, from Santa Cruz to the Oregon border, encountering along the way the world s tallest living thing: the mighty Coastal redwood tree. It will help you discover areas of the state born of fire, including the volcanic regions of Mount Shasta, Mount Lassen, and parts of the Eastern Sierra, along with areas dominated by water: the Bay Area, the Central Valley, and Lake Tahoe. It also includes other photographic flavors of California, such as scenic lighthouses, the wine country, the ghost town of Bodie, and of course, the State s crowning natural wonder, Yosemite National Park.Book Photographing California - Vol. 1: North: A Guide to the Natural Landmarks of the Golden State Review :
This is a handy guidebook for travel, but I expected it to be a greater technical resource for how to get these shots. Yes, the book tells you how to get there, and in some cases tells you better times of day to get a shot, but I hoped for more suggestions on settings or other technical hints to get the shots themselves. If you are looking for a travel book for some pretty scenery and a few unique locations, this book it for you. If you're looking for a book as a means to improve your photography, you'll want to look elsewhere or supplement with another training resource.Kudos to the author for information about Bowling Ball beach - I have been in that area countless times and never knew about it. However, I was somewhat underwhelmed by the quality of the photographs in general. Some were exceptional, but far too many shots of blurred waterfalls. To start, I really liked the first three volumes in the series (Southern Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado). I used them on several trips and obtained wonderful pictures. I did buy the Oregon book but did not like it as much, nor did I find it as useful.I live in Northern California and I know a number of sites Gary mentions. I learned of some things new to me in areas I though I knew well, but in the areas I know best, I know there is much the book misses. None the less, this book is far better than any other guide to Northern California that I have read. And it is about a third longer than the other books in this series.Recommended! And I am eager for the Southern California one (White Mountain, Alabama Hills, Morro Bay, etc.) Read Online Photographing California - Vol. 1: North: A Guide to the Natural Landmarks of the Golden State Download Photographing California - Vol. 1: North: A Guide to the Natural Landmarks of the Golden State Photographing California - Vol. 1: North: A Guide to the Natural Landmarks of the Golden State PDF Photographing California - Vol. 1: North: A Guide to the Natural Landmarks of the Golden State Mobi Free Reading Photographing California - Vol. 1: North: A Guide to the Natural Landmarks of the Golden State Download Free Pdf Photographing California - Vol. 1: North: A Guide to the Natural Landmarks of the Golden State PDF Online Photographing California - Vol. 1: North: A Guide to the Natural Landmarks of the Golden State Mobi Online Photographing California - Vol. 1: North: A Guide to the Natural Landmarks of the Golden State Reading Online Photographing California - Vol. 1: North: A Guide to the Natural Landmarks of the Golden State Read Online Gary Crabbe,Laurent Martres Download Gary Crabbe,Laurent Martres Gary Crabbe,Laurent Martres PDF Gary Crabbe,Laurent Martres Mobi Free Reading Gary Crabbe,Laurent Martres Download Free Pdf Gary Crabbe,Laurent Martres PDF Online Gary Crabbe,Laurent Martres Mobi Online Gary Crabbe,Laurent Martres Reading Online Gary Crabbe,Laurent MartresBest Fundamentals of Photonics (Wiley Series in Pure and Applied Optics) By Malvin Carl Teich
